3 different charging modes

With zappi, there are three different charging modes, all tailored to your preferences and lifestyle. Whether you need to hit the road quickly or like to wait for your car to be charged with renewable energy, zappi offers flexibility so you can charge on your personal terms.

Eco charging: This option uses a combination of green energy and energy from the grid. The charging process is limited as much as possible to using grid power at the time when rates are lowest, often at night. However, it is also possible to charge entirely on green energy, which means you can charge your car for free. Charging power is constantly adjusted according to the available generation capacity of power elsewhere in the home. If it drops below 1.4 kW, the grid will step in to make up the shortfall.

Eco+ charging: This option also uses both power from the grid and your own energy source. However, the charging power is constantly adjusted to the changing power generation and consumption elsewhere in the house. Charging your car is interrupted when too much power is input and resumes only when surplus power is available.

Fast charging: With this option, your car is immediately charged with maximum power. This can come from renewable energy or simply from the grid. The cost of charging your car also depends on several factors, including the mode and type of car.
